Trolls: Band Together - Viva (unused design)

This version of Viva was our first attempt of this character, it was not used in the final design. Character designer Taylor Krahenbuhl did a lot of playful versions of her. To be honest, I love all the different design and wish I can make them all! My modeling supervisor Jeff Hayes took over this character and brought her to the next level, and the final Viva looks way more glorious and energetic!
Now looking back, I still like this version of Viva a lot. She feels like a strong leader and having great composure. We were trying a few things in design as well, different nose, eyebrows, and eyes than Poppy. Technically, I enjoyed playing with Xgen hairs and MESH astro turf cape! I learned a lot making her into 3d, and I can't ask for more.
